On Sunday, May 17, during “No Stress Membership Sunday” three families became part of the First UMC - Siloam Springs church family through either a profession of faith or a transfer of a church membership.
Inez McDaniel and Barbara & Charles Leonard joined by transferring their memberships from another United Methodist congregation. Inez McDaniel is Charles Leonard’s mother.
Dan & Janel Bedor joined the church through profession of faith. Their son, Curtis, is a sophomore at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. Their daughter, Conner, is a seventh grader at Siloam Springs Middle School. Curtis and Conner joined the church through their respective confirmation classes.
Manville Michael joined the church through a transfer of membership from an other denomination. Melissa Michael joined through a profession of faith and a baptism. They have two daughters, Megan is a sixth grader at Siloam Springs Middle School. She joined the church through the 2009 confirmation class. Laura is a fourth grader at Southside Elementary School.
In May, eight Confirmands became the newest members of the First UMC Church Family.
