Rich and Memerley McElheny joined the First UMC family on Sunday, May 3, with a transfer of membership from Smyrna United Methodist Church, in South Carolina. Rich is employed at Gates. Memerley is a homemaker and volunteers with her two registered therapy dogs. They have four adult children, Ashley (and his wife Cristy), Tara (and her husband, Anthony) and Rachel live in Charleston, SC. Carlene (and her husband Kendall) live in Nashville, Tenn., and are expecting their first child in December.Sunday, May 3, 2009
